Our mission at The Faculty of Media, Art & Design at Durham College is to offer an exceptional educational experience in a state of the art setting to those who are curious and interested in learning about communication through creative initiative. Studies show that creative thinkers succeed, especially when things get tough. We’re looking for very special corporate partners who recognize that development of creative skills is important in education, in business, and in life.

Over the years, we have visited schools in the region to introduce the Summer Shorts Program. Students were always very enthusiastic about learning animation or enhancing their photography ability in our studios on college campus. Unfortunately some students, kids with great ideas and creative minds, simply did not have the financial resources to participate in our program. These kids would really benefit from a creative workshop experience and they need your help.

As a corporate partner, you could provide funding to sponsor a seat (or multiple seats) in a workshop so that we can offer these seats to the kids who require financial assistance. You may choose to sponsor a specific workshop or a variety of workshops. The cost of one workshop is $295 +HST. To acknowledge your sponsorship, your corporate logo will be prominently displayed on our website
and social media sites, Facebook and Instagram, as well as on any new associated marketing material produced thereafter.

 

Our goal is a minimum of 10 sponsored seats each year. We have identified several potential schools and students in need throughout Durham Region and could easily fill 10 seats with your help.
